iOS 5.0.1 is now in Beta. New features of iOS 5 can be seen in the video below.

The only way to install the new iOS 5.0.1 Beta is by having the UDID of your device registered as a developer device

I have a limited number of spots available for users who want to try out this and any future iOS Beta up until June 2012. Once you have purchased, your DUID will be put into a queue to be registered. Your UDID will be registered within 24 hours from your purchase.

Registering 1 device will cost £5, a further discount is available if registering 2 devices.

On a Mac it can be easier using System Profiler > Click USB > Select Your Device > Copy and paste the Serial Number

NOTE: The UDID is a 40 Character text string and not to be confused with the Serial Number shown in iTunes or on the actual device

Once your device(s) are registered you will receive a confirmation email notifying you.

Also, please remember that we do not provide the necessary software to be able to install on the devices. This procedure purely activates your device to be allowed to install beta software. Do not install the beta firmware until you get your confirmation email. iTunes does verify that you are on a developer account before allowing you to proceed with install.
